Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship

About

The Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship is a 2 part programme: Part 1- You will learn the following as part of the on-programme qualification: -Consultation -Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp -Cut hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks -Style and finish hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks -Colour and lighten hair using a range of techniques -Hair Extensions This will be assessed via observations, online exams and written work. Part 2- END POINT ASSESSMENT Apprentices must have achieved the Level 2 Diploma for Hairdressing Professionals. The EPA for the Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard will be assessed via Observation. The EPA is an externally assessed examination and the grading descriptors are Pass, Distinction or Fail. *Coming soon- There is currently a review taking place which will introduce the EPA being a two-part assessment with an entry test being required before the EPA observation can take place.
