The qualification provides the learner with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work creatively as an employed and/or self-employed hairdresser. This qualification is aimed at those learners who hold a recognised Level 2 or equivalent hairdressing qualification. The Level 3 Advanced and Creative Hair Professional is a 2 part programme: Part 1- You will learn the following as part of the on-programme qualification: -Provide client consultation services -Advanced and creative cutting services -Creative fashion styling and finishing services -Provide smoothing and strengthening services -Advanced and creative colour services -Use fashion forward trends in hair, creative and precision techniques to create a collection of hairstyle looks This will be assessed via observations, online exams and written work. Part 2- END POINT ASSESSMENT Apprentices must have achieved the on programme qualification. The EPA for the Advanced Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard will be assessed via Knowledge Test, Observation and Collection Book. The EPA is an externally assessed examination and the grading descriptors are Pass, Distinction or Fail.
