The Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist Apprenticeship is a 2 part programme: Part 1- You will learn the following: -Advanced Bespoke Body Massage & Electrical Treatments -Advanced Bespoke Facial Electrical Treatments *Galvanic *Micro-current *Microdermabrasion *Low intensity LED light (below 500mW) *Skin warming devices *High/radio frequency (range 3khz-300GHz (including high frequency 3khz -30mhz) *Electrical muscle stimulation *Lymphatic drainage equipment You will also put together a log of all your treatment evidence and a portfolio of evidence which will be used in your professional discussion (EPA). Part 2- END POINT ASSESSMENT Apprentices must have achieved the Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist Apprenticeship The EPA for the Advanced Beauty Therapist Apprenticeship Standard will be assessed via three assessment methods: -Knowledge Test -Observation & Technology Demonstration -Professional Discussion The EPA is an externally assessed examination and the grading descriptors are Pass, Distinction or Fail.
