Course Information

The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation is about using micropigmentation, a form of cosmetic tattooing to create make-up effects to enhance facial features. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs. This qualification is both internationally recognised and government approved. Course Content: • Management of health, safety and security in the salon • Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector • Enhance appearance using micropigmentation treatment • Anatomy & Physiology • Eyebrows- Powder Brows/Hair Strokes • Lips (Blush/Liner) • Eyeliner Councils and local authorities are increasingly requiring practitioners and salon owners to hold a Level 4 in order to apply for a licence to perform Micropigmentation services, if you have already trained you may consider upgrading your qualifications to ensure you are ready for this new regulation. If you are an accredited semi-permanent makeup artist who can demonstrate competency through a portfolio you can now upgrade to the Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation. Our refresher course includes case studies, homework and a formal assessment. If you are a complete beginner, you must hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification to enrol onto this course.
